There is now the facility for patients to book appointments with a doctor and order repeat prescriptions via this website. This is protected by the highest security and cannot be accessed by others providing you keep your registration details secure.
Engage Consult
Use your Engage Consult account on the Engage Consult website to:
- Ask a question
- Complete an online form to ask about a non-urgent medical problem
- Get information on self-care and community services
- Ask an admin question
Engage Consult should not be used for any medical problem that you think is an emergency, including a worsening infection.
If we receive your online form before 12:30pm on one of our working days, we will usually respond on the same day. Sometimes demand may mean this takes longer.
If we receive your online form after 12:30pm, we aim to respond the next working day. Sometimes demand may mean this takes longer.
Engage Consult should not be used for repeat prescription requests.
Medical Records
Part of your medical record can now be accessed online. There is a basic level which gives your medications and any allergies that you may have and this is called your summary information. There is also a more detailed level which gives all your coded entries and any blood test results. This requires a further consent form to be able to access and is available at the discretion of your general practitioner. There are also restrictions about parental access to children’s records and from the age of 13 children can take responsibility for their own records.
Registering for online access
To be able to access this facility you will need to have an individual access and ID code. Please contact Reception, who will be able to issue you with this. All new patients registering with us will automatically receive a logon and password.
