Antenatal Care
You can now self-refer to midwife services

Fill in your details and click “submit”, your community midwife will be in contact with you to book your first appointment.
Cervical Screening
We offer cervical screening to those aged 25 to 65 Cervical Screening appointments with Nurse Simkins.
The NHS send out letters inviting you to book your appointments, every 3 years for those below the age of 50, every 5 years for those aged 50 and above – unless stated otherwise.
Once you have received your letter, please contact Reception on 01435 882 306 to book a slot. Cervical Screening appointments cannot be made via the Online Service.

STI testing kits can be ordered online via www.freetest.me and all self STI test kits and free condoms are available outside their clinics in Eastbourne and Hastings.
Minor Surgery
We perform Cryotherapy at the surgery and refer patients on for minor surgical procedures such as ingrowing toe nails.

NHS Health Checks
Free NHS health checks are being offered to people aged between 40 and 74 once every five years. This check is to assess your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease or diabetes. Once you have had your invite, please contact Reception to arrange an appointment.
Travel Vaccinations
We are currently only able to provide NHS travel vaccines. We do not provide travel advice and non NHS vaccinations as we do not have staff trained in this area of expertise. Training of new nursing team is on-going and once they a have completed the training and are competent in this area we will resume the service.
Please make sure that you seek advice about your travel vaccines at least 3 to 4 months before you are due to travel as you may need several doses at weekly or monthly intervals to complete a vaccination course and ensure that you are full covered before you go.
